Warehouse Manager Job Description
Quality Fire Protection is seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our continuously growing team in Woods Cross, Utah. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing inventory, overseeing warehouse operations, and implementing process improvements to maximize efficiency. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and ensuring accurate inventory control to meet operational goals. We are looking for a dynamic individual with strong leadership, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations:
Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving and storing.
Ensure all inventory is properly stored and organized to maximize space and efficiency.
Monitor and enforce safety standards and regulations within the warehouse.
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and recorded data.
Coordinate regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
Ensure proper stock rotation and minimize product loss or damage.
Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve accuracy and reduce errors.
Reporting & Documentation:
Generate and maintain reports on inventory levels, order status, and warehouse activities.
Track and report performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to inventory control.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the warehouse and inventory management systems.
Implement best practices and new technologies to optimize warehouse operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; knowledge of supply chain management and business administration is a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or a related field.
Knowledge of sprinkler parts and materials.
Reliable, positive, and an active listener.
Ability to work independently, demonstrate responsibility, and maintain a good attitude.
Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse operations.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Forklift certification.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
