Telesign is seeking a Software Developer in Test to extend our automated test coverage for our internally developed systems.
Responsibilities:
Determine methods and procedures, developing and executing test plans that cover functional, performance, stress, stability, and operational requirements for both existing and new software platforms.
Automate test procedures, making appropriate use of tools and test frameworks.
Perform hands-on testing.
Work as part of our development teams within the SCRUM process.
Accountable for automating the testing of highly complex systems.
Bug reporting and tracking, bug analysis, and reproduction.
Deployment verification.
Performance testing.
Essential Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science or another equivalent field.
Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
Relational database experience.
Ability to write automated tests using common programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, Groovy, etc.
Team player with good time management and communication skills.
Keen to learn new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in software test automation, tools, and methodologies.
Understanding of HTTP.
Experience with testing REST APIs and web services.
Experience with NoSQL databases.
Experience with Git.
Experience with testing software in a virtualized Linux environment and common open-source software packages.
Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Experience with AWS.
