Seeking a retail store supervisor

Domo J’s Convenience is located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Currently we are looking for a retail store supervisor to join our convenience store team. All applicants, including aboriginals and new immigrants, are welcome. The hourly wage for this position shall be $ 23.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Supervise and co-ordinate cashiers and shelf-stockers

• Assign workers to duties and prepare work schedules

• Authorize payments and the return of merchandise

• Sell merchandise to customers

• Resolve customer complaints and supply/organization issues

• Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise as required

• Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters

• Train or arrange for the training of new staff

Requirements:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.

• Should have no problem with irregular work schedules or on-call shifts.

• Applicants who can work in this position for at least one year are preferred.
