Job Summary:

Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our team specializing in a thin-film manufacturing facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply engineering principles in a manufacturing environment, contribute to innovative projects, and develop technical expertise in material handling, tension control, slitting machinery, and system optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in designing, analyzing, and optimizing thin-film manufacturing and handling systems, including rollers, tension control mechanisms, and material transport.

Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and feasibility studies related to the thin-film manufacturing process.

Support prototyping and testing efforts, including data collection and analysis.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance, including manufacturing, quality, and electrical engineering.

Participate in design reviews and provide input for process and equipment improvements.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.? Document project progress and prepare technical reports and presentations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a similar engineering field.

Proficient with MS Excel, Word

Experience: 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing (preferred but not required).

Strong attention to detail and data analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent organizational and data documentation skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
