Foreign Language Interpreter

Job Description

SLUSA is seeking In-Person Foreign Language Interpreters to fill a variety of appointments in DMV area. We are in need of the following languages:

Amharic, Arabic, Bengali, Burmese, Cantonese, Chin Hakka, Dari, Farsi/Persian, French, Gujarati, Haitian Creole, Hindi, Korean, Mandarin, Nepali, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Somali, Swahili, Tagalog, Telugu, Tigrinya, Turkish, Urdu, Vietnamese.

Interpreting work will consist of mostly medical or educational assignments.

Looking for ALL Languages especially for the Maryland and Virginia areas.

Interpreters must have at least 2 years documented professional experience providing interpretation in a medical environment. Interpreters must possess a 40 hour medical interpreter training certificate through the Bridging the Gap program, CCHI, or another accredited institution.

Interpreters must have vaccination records.
