Job Summary

The CDL Shuttle Driver Supervisor will be responsible for Management of all Shipping / Receiving Forklift Drivers and Team Leads across three shifts. Coordination between all Topre internal departments concerning the shipment of all finished goods; including service parts and trial parts to Topre Wearhouse

Duties and Responsibilities:

Daily Management of all CDL Shuttle drivers

Daily Coordination between Customers and Topre internal departments as needed

Daily Management of all service orders and trial orders as needed to ensure proper shipping

Management and ordering of all necessary supplies to maintain trucks so that they are running and operating properly.

Keeping up with the rotation of truck and trailer maintenance

Coordination of the transportation schedule for internal shipping shipments

Responsible for writing and implementing all CDL Shuttle Driver’s procedures

Responsible for ensuring training of all Topre America CDL Shuttle Drivers

If hazardous material; must follow procedures in accordance with ISO 14001 manual

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Required

CDL Class A License

Basic computer skills

Detailed oriented

Organization skills

1 - 2 years of Management (Team Leader or above) in Logistics - Managing CDL drivers

Good communication skills

Preferred

3 years of Management (Team Leader or above) in Logistics - Managing CDL drivers

Credentials (Education and experience necessary to perform the job)

High school education

1 - 2 years of Management (Team Leader or above) in Logistics - Managing CDL drivers

Special requirements:

Availability to handle phone calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to respond to customer or associate issues.

Ability to fill in as driver when drivers are off of work

Must be able to maintain a good service and maintenance schedule on all trucks and trailers.Company Description
