Vendor and Supplier Management:
Evaluate and approve new egg vendors and contract suppliers.
Ensure supplier compliance with company standards, industry certifications, and renewals.
Conduct and oversee inspections to maintain quality and integrity.
Farm Coordination and Communication:
Serve as the primary liaison between producers, feed service representatives, and certification bodies.
Oversee the Farm Coordination Team to ensure smooth operations and communication.
Strategic Growth and Planning:
Develop business plans aligned with WEF's strategic growth objectives.
Expand chicken and duck flocks to meet customer demand and market needs.
Egg Supply and Projections:
Manage egg supply projections to align with customer needs and inventory requirements.
Coordinate with farms to ensure adequate production and delivery timelines.
Business Development:
Identify opportunities to grow the duck business and build relationships with producers to support this expansion.
Collaborate with internal teams to integrate duck products into overall strategic plans.Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Management, Technical Training, or a related field (preferred).
Experience: 3-5 years of related experience and/or training. Proven experience in farm management, supplier relations, or a similar role in the agriculture or specialty food industry. Knowledge of compliance and certification processes in agriculture or food production.
