Our mills in Rumford, Maine and Biron Wisconsin are integrated paper & pulp facilities, and our mill in Fairmont, West Virginia is one of only three in the world that produces air-dried, recycled pulp. Our fourth mill in Old Town, ME produces softwood kraft pulp. We are proud of our 1400 dedicated employees, who together produce more than 1.2 million short tons of pulp & paper annually.

We are seeking a highly motivated Contract Recruiter to help our company meet complex and emerging staffing needs. As a staffing and recruitment specialist, you actively recruit qualified individuals for open positions, oversee candidate interviews and screening, and collaborate with HR personnel to formulate effective staffing strategies. Our ideal candidate has both considerable experience and success as a corporate recruiter, in addition to strong communication and organizational skills. This position will be based at the Rumford Mill in Rumford, ME.

Job Responsibilities:

Demonstrate safety as a core value and establish a safe work environment by actively leading the safe execution of work.

Recruit qualified individuals to fill vacant positions

Collaborate with HR personnel to determine an ideal hiring and staffing strategy

Oversee and conduct candidate interviews and implement new hiring processes

Utilize all tools available to source top talent

Requirements:

A degree in HR, business, or equivalent years of experience

Recruiting experience

Strong computer proficiency

Experience utilizing an HRIS system, preferably ADP

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
