Bids and Quotes Analyst
Overview:
The Bids and Quotes Analyst provides administrative and analytical support to the Sales and Pricing teams, ensuring competitive, accurate, and timely bids and quotations. This role directly contributes to achieving sales targets and maintaining contract compliance through effective pricing strategies and strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and complete accurate competitive bids and quotations for sales representatives within deadlines.
Establish special pricing agreements based on GPO and IDN contracts under guidance from the Pricing Manager.
Communicate financial projections and contractual impacts to cross-functional teams and management.
Review and interpret commercial contract terms and conditions, ensuring organizational compliance.
Apply revenue recognition policies, particularly for Multiple Elements Arrangements and Standalone Selling Prices.
Process customer paperwork for order setup, billing customization, and service initiation.
Conduct regular audits of existing lease contracts to verify usage and update billing or shipping as needed.
Requirements:
Prior experience in bids and quotes, service contracts, or licensing environments preferred.
Strong phone and email communication skills.
High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ability to learn proprietary inventory and pricing software.
Basic math/statistical knowledge.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively.
Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 5%).
