Key Responsibilities:

Drive the architecture of a highly scalable, robust platform to support complex quantitative workloads and real-time risk analytics.

Define a forward-looking technology vision aligned with the needs of quantitative investing.

Own decisions around tech stack, compute strategies, data handling, parallel processing, caching, and cloud architecture.

Promote modularity, reusability, and extensibility to support ongoing innovation.

Ensure high-performance computing through efficient architectural patterns in distributed systems and parallel computing.

Anticipate future scaling requirements and align design decisions with long-term growth.

Partner with quant researchers, developers, and business leaders to translate complex requirements into architectural solutions.

Communicate architectural decisions and roadmaps clearly across teams.

The ideal candidate is an experienced systems architect with a strong background in designing high-performance platforms for quantitative or risk systems within financial services. They have deep expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and distributed systems, with a solid grasp of parallel processing, caching strategies, and modern engineering practices like CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code.
