A well-known and respected Bitcoin Mining company are looking to hire a Hardware Engineer who will oversee the operations of a hardware, firmware, and mining pool testing facility.
The role involves running firmware tests, developing test plans, conducting manual and automated testing on ASIC miners across various crypto algorithms, and ensuring firmware quality.
Responsibilities of the Hardware Engineer include:
Conduct firmware pilot programs for valued customers.
Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance (QA) professionals and developers to refine test scripts, procedures, and problem-solving strategies.
Contribute to the development and utilization of training and QA materials.
Partner with both our customers and operations team to troubleshoot and seamlessly integrate new datacenter technologies.
Assist in collecting on-site insights to incubate intriguing and pioneering prototypes related to High-Performance Computing (HPC) applications.
Requirements of the Field Application Engineer include:
7+ years of experience in hardware/software engineering
Experience with debugging tools (e.g., DVM, UART, WireShark) to identify and resolve hardware/software issues
Experience with Embedded programming preferably on FPGAs, ASICs, SoCs.
Experience with GCP, AWS, and basic devops
Strong knowledge in firmware development, embedded systems, and hardware/software interactions.
The team are offering $140,000 on the base for this role, with flexibility for the right candidate.
