Patent Litigation Paralegal

LHH is working with a law firm in Austin, TX, specializing in plaintiff-side patent litigation. The firm is seeking a Patent Litigation Paralegal with extensive experience in commercial federal court litigation and a background in patent law. This role requires someone who is comfortable working in a collaborative, laid-back environment, able to communicate effectively with attorneys, and proactive in ensuring that case requirements are met.

Benefits:

Annual base salary range from $80,000 - $110,000

No billable hours requirement

Responsibilities:

Manage workflows, oversee docketing, and ensure the efficient handling of cases

Support attorneys in case filings, trial preparation, and court communications

Ensure efficient handling of cases while maintaining high levels of organization

Deliver high-quality legal support

Proactively mentor junior paralegals

Qualifications & Skills:

At least 7 years of extensive experience in commercial federal court litigation processes

Background in patent law and patent litigation

Strong understanding of federal court litigation processes

Trial experience strongly preferred

Proven experience coaching and training paralegals
