Job Description
Job Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to prepare and oversee the complimentary breakfast and any scheduled “functions” on the premises. Provide customer service in accordance with the hotel’s policies/procedures; to achieve and maintain guest satisfaction, product quality, and safety and security.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Able to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
Greet guests, visitors and staff in a courteous and friendly manner; must be able to initiate and engage in conversation.
Respond to guests’ needs, special requests and complaints.
Restock drink, food items and other supplies as needed.
Maintain the cleanliness of the breakfast area and surroundings.
Clean Breakfast Room; take down displays, clean dishes, vacuum and mop (etc)
Vacuum and mop: lobby area, hallway and bathrooms
Dispose of trash and recyclables (down to dumpster)
Complete “deep” cleaning item for the day (Monday-Friday)
Receive supplies; date and rotate stock.
Complete and record inventory (hand into Manager)
Complete any BEO requirements.
Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent years of relevant work experience required.
Must be able to lift 35-40 pounds
Friendly demeanor and good customer service skills needed.
Previous experience in customer-based business preferred.
