Intern will work closely with an assigned Mentor to attain property management experience associated with their field of study/interest, including the brand, customer, product, and goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Day to day tasks will vary greatly depending upon projects/needs but will include:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Assist in posting job openings on various job boards and company career page.
Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate screenings.
Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates.
Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire paperwork and facilitating orientation sessions.
Employee Records Management:
Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (Human Resource Information System).
Ensure all employee documentation is accurately filed and confidentially stored.
Assist in the audit of employee files to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
HR Operations Support:
Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management.
Support payroll processing by collecting and verifying employee time and attendance data.
Help organize and coordinate employee training sessions and development programs.
Employee Relations:
Participate in employee engagement initiatives and company events.
Assist in handling employee inquiries and resolving routine HR-related issues.
Support the HR team in conducting employee surveys and compiling results.
HR Projects:
Contribute to special HR projects, such as diversity and inclusion initiatives, performance management processes, and policy reviews.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
General Administrative Tasks:
Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and managing correspondence.
Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient HR office environment.
