We are seeking a CNC Press Brake Operator to become an integral part of our team! This operator will use specialized CNC equipment to form flat layout metal components to product specifications.
Shift Hours:
(First)
6:00am - 3:00pm (Monday - Thursday) 6:00am - Noon (Friday)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to operate, program, and change out tooling on CNC equipment
Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, or product specifications.
Operate small hand tools such as grinders, buffers, and sanders
Must be able to stand, lift, and bend to maneuver sheet metal parts to be formed
Detail duties such as counting and completing documentation
Ability to read work instructions and department routings
Inspects parts for conformance to specifications
Ability to work well with others in your same work area and other departments
Work in an efficient and timely manner
Keep work area, including machine surfaces clean at all times.
Identify areas for process improvement, cost and waste reduction
Associate must maintain an exceptional attendance record
The associate is required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment; such as safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.'
Qualifications:
Previous experience in manufacturing, manual or CNC Forming, or other related fields
Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
