Wineshipping is a tech-enabled third-party logistics (3PL) provider for alcoholic beverage companies, managing the fastest, most accurate, and most cost-efficient delivery network in the US for wine, beer, spirits, and more. SUMMARY: The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for ensuring the execution and implementation of HR processes and activities including (but not limited to) full cycle recruiting, employee relations, compensation administration, benefits administration, workforce development, and employee services for the specified region.
ABOUT THE JOB
Advocate for employees providing HR expertise in areas such as learning and development, career growth, total rewards, and employee relations
Develop and implement people strategies to attract, engage, and retain a strong and diverse talent workforce
Screen and evaluate applicants for competence, background, and skill set, as well as overall ability to fit and thrive within the organization.
Scheduling interviews, creating offer letters, and initiating on-boarding
Roll out and manage employee-relations activities including but not limited to employee counseling, interpretation of policies, new employee orientation, and employee recognition programs.
Coordinates employee events and activities in support of creating a positive work environment for all employees.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Collaborate with client groups and the HR & Operations teams to create and execute initiatives and overall process improvements
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
Background of at least three (3) years as an HR Business Partner in a high-growth company and seven (7) years of overall HR or related work experience
Experience with ADP preferred
Understanding of human resources practices, including state and federal employment law.
Good judgement in handling difficult situations with employees.

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Basic competence in duties and tasks of supervised employees.
Ability to work with all levels of management.
Strong relationship building skills with ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels of an organization
Successful track record of designing and implementing people programs
Understanding of various employment laws and their impact on day-to-day matters
Ability to work through ambiguity, think creatively, and roll up your sleeves
Solid communicator with proven experience influencing and collaborating cross-functionally, ideally with dispersed teams
Experience being the face of HR, representing policies and practices to managers and employees across the organization
BA / BS degree or equivalent experience
