Orchid Isle Ford - Hilo is looking for a friendly, hard-working, Service Department Office Support Staff Member for a full-time position. Must be proficient with computers, have great customer service skills, able to multi-task and be a team player. Automotive Knowledge or Experience is a plus. Pay commensurate with work experience starting at $17.00/hour. Will have to pass a drug test before starting employment and submit a driver's abstract.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide exceptional customer service to customers in-person as well as on the telephone.

Answer phones, schedule appointments, cashier functions. Some “Courtesy Transportation Service” driving also required.

Communicates with other staff to ensure proper scheduling so productivity of mechanics is maximized.

Creates and updates work orders to insure clear communication of customer concerns

Assists maintaining in house rental units.

Ability to shift gears and react quickly without compromising customer service.

Create and maintain a positive relationship with customers and vendors.

Automotive technical knowledge a plus

Sales or Customer service experience a plus

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Excellent organizational skills

Organization and multi-tasking skills, good time management and adapt easily to fast-paced environment and prioritize assignments

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, and Word a plus

Personable, friendly demeanor with “World Class” customer service approach

Team Player Attitude A Must

Well groomed, professional appearance

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma/GED (advanced education desired)

Current and unrestricted driver's license and traffic abstract to be provided

Impressive work ethic

Will need to successfully pass pre-employment drug testing and criminal background check

Starting Pay $17.00
