Summary

We are currently representing a fast-growing construction firm seeking a Project Engineer to support multifamily residential projects in the Montecito, CA area. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced project management team and gain exposure to all phases of construction—from preconstruction to project closeout. Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and maintaining project schedules and tracking progress

Manage and organize RFIs, submittals, drawings, and project documentation

Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely communication

Support the Project Manager with budgeting, billing, and cost control tracking

Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure project alignment

Attend jobsite meetings and document key updates and action items

Help manage procurement, delivery schedules, and material tracking

Participate in jobsite walks and inspections as needed

Provide general project administrative support

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in a construction project support role preferred

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred

Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office applications

Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills

Eagerness to learn and grow within a high-performing project team
