Salary: $35-$45 per hour DOE

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Electrical Estimator/Project Manager who can commit to those values.

As an Electrical Estimator/Project Manager you will assist the Senior Estimator with analyze project details, collaborate with management, and use estimating tools to prepare accurate, competitive, and profitable cost estimates. Bring your experience, proficiency in estimating software and strong understanding of electrical systems. Additional, you will assist the Project Management Team with small to mid-size construction project execution from job procurement to job completion. You will be planning, directing, and coordinating operations, purchasing and financial reporting for assigned projects as well ensuring jobsite work is performed within a pre-scheduled budget and is performed to meet or exceed prescribed goals. You will collaborate with other Project Managers and staff to ensure the efficiency and profitability of all projects. Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Identifies what is necessary to create a bid proposal by reviewing the project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents.

Submits bid proposals in accordance with established guidelines.

Maintains and develops positive relationships with clients and vendors.

Evaluates bid documents for any issues or problems that might occur.

Prepare and develop RFIs including research as required with project Foreman and contract documents.

Performs job walks to determine if anything may impact the bid, pre-construction designs, and observes field condition that may affect the construction.

Requests quotes from vendors and material suppliers and reviews to confirm accuracy.

Attends estimating meetings and any other meetings regarding projects to discuss bid status, present/resolve any potential problems.

Reviews and negotiates project contracts and any changes and or additions made to the contractual agreements with subcontractors, owners, clients, suppliers, etc.

Prepares and maintains projects schedule of values and budget setups.

Collaborates with the operations team to execute major project purchases. This includes managing the execution of product data submittals/shop drawings for approval and material releases for delivery to projects on time.

Facilitate internal and external meetings, which include Project Kick Off Meetings, Project Close Out Meetings, Job Site Walk Throughs, etc.

Assesses performance, progress, and quality on each project by visiting on a regular basis.

Manages all billing for all assigned projects.

Manage Requests for Information submission response evaluation and implementation.

Develops and maintains positive relationships with clients, vendors, engineering firms and trade partners.

Collaborates and reviews with the appropriate team to ensure proper administration of payroll, material/subcontractor payments, and owner progress and final payments.

Requirements:

3-5 years experience as an Estimator in the Electrical Construction Industry

3-5 years experience of Project Management in the electrical construction industry or related field.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively follow directions and coordinate, monitor and track all aspects of assigned duties for projects.

Knowledge of pertinent National Electrical codes, electrical systems, and regulations. Must have a knowledge of and ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings.

Advanced skills in MS Office.

Experience using McCormick and Accubid software platforms.

Superb time management and organizational skills.

The pay range for this position is $72,800-$93,600 (salary) depending on applicants relevant experience.
