JOB TITLE: FABRICATION/3D PRINT TECHNICIAN I INTERN

DEPARTMENT: FABRICATION & MODIFICATION

REPORTS TO: UAV PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

CLASSIFICATION: NON-EXEMPT

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Assist the shop/fabrication/engineering department as assigned, with fabrication of structural or sheet metal products.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform any combination of tasks: lifting, positioning and removing workpieces to assist in fitting and/or welding.

Assure the accuracy and completeness of all work assignments.

Assist with quality assurance of all products.

Assist with the final 3D print process, working directly with an Engineer.

Maintain the cleanliness of the shop and surrounding areas at all times.

Follow precise safety measures at all times.

Perform other duties as are necessary and/or required.

REQUIREMENTS:

Pursuing High School diploma/degree in related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Familiarity with SolidWorks and CAD Software.

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Ability to traverse manufacturing facility.
