Engineering Support Technician qualified to develop and execute specialty material processes and support evaluation and testing of metallic, non-metallic, and composite materials used in Aerospace and Defense programs
Essential Functions:
Work with Materials & Processes engineers to develop and perform destructive and non-destructive techniques which include material property testing, analytical methods, failure analysis, and surface preparation
Responsibilities include interfacing with internal customers to assist in the selection, evaluation, and application of numerous materials and processes relevant to the technical activities of L3Harris
Work is hands-on in a lab environment involving manufacturing process development of structural/non-structural bonding, coating, molding applications

High School Diploma or equivalent with minimum of 6 years industry experience in a laboratory environment or associate's degree with 2 years industry experience.
