We are seeking a Program Coordinator, Community College Engineering Pathways, to join our team. This position will be responsible for the effective coordination, management, and execution of ASME's undergraduate internship program and support of the Community College Engineering Pathways (CCEP) Program.
This position plays a critical role in supporting ASME's workforce development goals by recruiting employer partners, engaging interns, and improving program delivery and performance to align with ASME's strategic objectives.

As a Program Coordinator, CCEP,you will report to the Director, Workforce Development,and work closely with colleagues within ASME.
In the role of Program Coordinator, CCEP, you will be responsible for:
Internship Program Coordination
Serve as the primary staff liaison for ASME's undergraduate internship program
Coordinate, implement, manage, and evaluate all aspects of the internship program
Maintain internship resources, including websites, toolkits, and SharePoint files
Conduct regular intern check-ins and regular employer checkpoints
Support onboarding in collaboration with Human Resources
Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
Update and maintain the main internship webpage and related guides Employer & Partner Engagement
Identify, recruit, and maintain employer partners for intern placement
Collaborate with employers to assess internship needs and placements
Cultivate relationships with current and prospective partners and funders Program Support - Community College Engineering Pathways (CCEP)
Provide assistance to the CCEP program with daily management
Support workshops/webinars, recruitment, meetings, and performance evaluation
Maintain communication with stakeholders
Support testimonial collection and marketing efforts Cross-Functional Contributions
Collaborate across ASME units to identify internship needs and deliver solutions
Lead stakeholder meetings and presentations
Support grant proposal development with the philanthropy team
Represent ASME at events and industry conferences The Program Coordinator, CCEP, Should Also Possess the Following Key Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work with diverse and global stakeholders
Project management and strategic planning experience What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
Associate degree in education, workforce development, or a related field
Minimum of three years of experience in education, workforce development, or internship coordination
Proven experience cultivating employer relationships and stakeholder engagement
Experience working in a community college setting preferred Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Experience with virtual event platforms such as Zoom
Familiarity with workforce development trends and best practices
Experience in nonprofit or educational program settings is a plus
This role is eligible for a remote work arrangement. Periodic business travel may be required, including but not limited to, ASME Offices which are currently located in NYC (headquarters), NJ, DC, TX.

The annual base salary may vary based on geographic location. The New York metro salary range for this position is estimated to be between $68,500 - $72,000.00.
