We have an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor, Asset Data. This hybrid role requires working from one of our offices in Little Rock, or Fort Smith, AR.

POSITION SUMMARY

This role plays a key part in supporting field employees and enhancing customer satisfaction through the effective oversight of asset data and drafting operations. You'll lead a team responsible for construction drawings, as-built documentation, and post-construction mapping for gas pipeline projects.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise a team of drafters and asset data professionals, ensuring adherence to company policies and applicable laws including assigning and directing work; providing training; appraising performance; rewarding and providing positive corrective action when needed; resolving employee issues.

Oversee the creation of construction and as-built drawings, post-construction maps, and related documentation

Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Construction to ensure accurate mapping of proposed and completed projects

Assist in developing and supervising a multi-year program in collaboration with the Pipeline Integrity and GIS departments to populate missing and correct inaccurate data to support the implementation of Company risk models

Provide technical guidance and process support to drive efficiency and accuracy in asset data management

Prioritize and assign work to support pipeline safety and timely work order completion

Participate in the preparation of Company technical specifications

Supervise departmental compliance with Operator Qualification (OQ) requirements

Use computer-aided drafting (CAD) software to create and edit applicable construction drawings, isometric views, civil engineering site plans, detail drawings, mapping, and natural gas system appurtenances (e.g., regulator stations, valves, fittings)

Map easements and LandBase for subdivisions and pipelines as constructed

Create material lists, maintain as-built records for field installations, and ensure document accuracy

Will be expected to learn all skills for any machine and/or software necessary to accomplish tasks and all other duties as assigned

Collaborate with departments including GIS, Pipeline Safety, Operations, Construction, Business Development, Legal, and Plant Accounting

Support document preparation for local, state, and federal regulatory agencies

Maintain current technical and regulatory knowledge through training and field evaluation

Other duties as assigned by Asset Data Manager EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or GIS from an ABET-accredited university with 3+ years in a regulated natural gas utility; OR

5+ years of direct experience in the natural gas industry with relevant drafting and supervisory experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

Strong project management skills and the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously

Proficient in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Microsoft Word and Excel

Knowledge and experience reading and interpreting drafting standards, material lists, pipeline mapping, ROW information, plats, legal descriptions, blueprints, and others

Exceptional attention to detail with a passion for data accuracy and documentation

Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate in meetings, one-on-one exchanges, conduct presentations, and providing feedback in a positive and constructive manner

Proven ability to collaborate across teams and influence at all levels, including senior leadership

Familiarity with PHMSA DOT Part 192 regulations and applicable state requirements
