About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Virginia, VA. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our supply chain operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement production schedules, demand plans, and inventory plans that meet our business objectives. Your ultimate goal will be to improve our supply chain performance and drive cost savings while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

5+ years of experience in supply chain management

Strong knowledge of supply chain optimization techniques and tools

Experience with production scheduling, demand planning, and inventory management

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in MRP systems to plan and manage material requirements based on production schedules and demand forecasts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

Previous supervisory experience of a team of shipping/receiving associates and professional level employees within the field

Experience in the medical manufacturing industry

APICS or other relevant certification

Experience with material planning and production control

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement production schedules, demand plans, and inventory plans that meet business objectives

Optimize supply chain operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve supply chain issues

Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement

Drive cost savings initiatives while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction

Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to secure favorable agreements for the organization.
