Job Description
Let’s go to work, I’m recruiting Sr. Marine Electrical Engineers for a “direct” opportunity in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The Sr. Electrical Engineer coordinates the electrical work of the project assigned, from Engineering through to the hands-on installation of electrical systems to ensure that the goals of the project are accomplished within established time frames and funding parameters.
Successful candidate will have:
Advanced working knowledge of Marine (Ships, Yachts, etc.) electrical systems required
Ability to read and work from blueprints and other technical drawings
Experience working with AutoCAD and in a Marine/Ships/Yachts environment preferred
Knowledge and experience of the Microsoft platform (primarily Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Knowledge of AutoCAD and other Engineering software programs
Extract requirements from Classification Society or Flag State regulations and incorporate them into the project-specific designs
Prepare or oversee the creation of electrical load analysis for AC & DC systems
Prepare or oversee the preparation of technical specifications for the purchase of vessel electrical equipment
Prepare or oversee the creation of electrical wiring diagrams for all vessel systems as required
Prepare electrical system commissioning documents including quality check sheets, functional tests, and operational signoffs
Provide electrical installation, trouble shooting, and expertise
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines relative to the layout of electrical equipment and to ensure that equipment chosen by others is appropriate for the vessel
This a direct placement opportunity, and is onsite in Manitowoc, WI. NO 1099’s, W-2 only.
Pay Details: 50.00 to 65.00 per hour
