ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Must be able to work at fast pace, follow instructions and be self-motivated

Requires excellent math skills including fractions, and geometry

Requires ability to read a tape measure, calipers and other tools

Requires ability to read blueprints and calculate bend allowances

Work independently with minimal supervision

Must work well with others

Be able to lift up to 40-50 lbs routinely, and occasionally up to 90 lbs.

Ability to Stand for 10 hours

Ensure and verify material

Provide immediate feedback when problems occur

Ability to work OT with little notice when required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

A technical degree is preferred but not required

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

Must be willing to assist in other areas when needed

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening, background check & amp; a fit for duty physical assessment.

Ability to read and accurately use measuring tools.

Ability to read basic blueprints.

Has a knowledge of hand tools and can operate a variety of forklifts.

Ability to interpret and follow an extensive variety of instructions and work orders, both verbal and written
