Senior Sale Manager - Reactive

Working alongside a wonderful team at The Peninsula Bangkok, we are seeking The Senior Sales Manager – Reactive who assists and performs all sales activities in his/her the area of responsibility, driving sales, developing new accounts while further growing existing ones with specific responsibility of optimizing revenues while representing the hotel according to brand standards; Executes all action plans and strategies as set forth in the marketing plan with special focused on achieving annual occupancy and revenue budgets.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the conversion of the business leads from sales department

Implement all sales action plans related to his/her industry zoning area as assigned

Solicit, establish and maintain files on major active accounts within his/her responsibility with continuous probing for potential accounts.

Plan sales activities to business leads, calling on existing and potential accounts within their specific zones.

Provide information on changing marketing conditions, including trends in the competition, as a result of direct sales solicitation, telephone and direct mail. Arrange and accompany clients on Fam/Site inspection tour in the hotel.

Maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel in major areas through sales solicitation, telephone contact and social networking.

Execute all promotional materials as well as keep abreast of direct competitor activities.

Handle and reply of general requests (Email, Telephone or through other online platforms)

Achieve the conversion ratio set in the budget

Assists in preparation of the Marketing Plan

Actively participates in achieving the Sales & Marketing budget.

Performs such other functions as may be delegated by management from time to time

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent hotel management courses with hotel operations

Minimum 4 years in a similar or relevant field

Good knowledge of computer skills i.e. Microsoft Word, and Excel

Fluent in English, both written and spoken
