Machine Operator - Nights

Our client is looking for strong machine operators to join their team for an 8 week project! They are a world leading automotive supplier for steel and aluminum components, and one of the largest growing companies in Central Ohio! Centrally located, with great opportunities for growth, this is a great opportunity!

The Machine Operators would be in charge of different forging presses, feeding material into the machine, operating the press, and moving material to the appropriate place when it is completed.

Qualified candidates will need to have experience with machine operation in a manufacturing environment and experience using a forklift is highly desired.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

- Operation of machine and secondary equipment, including feeding material manually

- Material handling with a forklift

- Support department personnel and tasks

- Measuring/Documenting of product produced to ensure quality standards

- Performing required operator level maintenance tasks

- Assisting maintenance during major breakdowns

- Sorting non-conforming product (as required)

- Cleaning equipment and surrounding areas

- Special projects as determined by area manager/supervisor/team lead

- Adherence to 5S principles

- Reporting/Documenting equipment related maintenance issues to supervisor/maintenance

department

- Supply maintenance request documentation for breakdowns

Qualifications:

- Previous machine operation experience required

- Press operation experience preferred

- Forklift experience preferred
