1700 N, Wheeling St., Aurora, CO 80045

Rate is negotiable

2 weeks PTO, 11 Paid Federal Holidays!

Hours of Operation:

0730-1730, Monday – Friday

Qualifications:

Education/license:

• Must have graduated from an approved school of professional nursing

• Must possess a current license in any US state or territory

Experience:

• Must possess at least (2) two years of direct patient care experience within the past three years

Certifications:

• Current BLS Certification

Responsibilities, Job responsibilities, but not limited to:

• The RN assigned to these areas provide direct and indirect nursing care, by contributing to the patient’s assessment, determining priorities, identifying nursing measures and therapeutic objectives and evaluating outcomes.

• Requires independent judgement and nursing actions, flexibility organizational skills, and the ability to utilize an interdisciplinary approach to the provision of nursing care.

• The RN is subject to the professional direction of the VA Nurse Manager or the designee during the work week

• Coordination of care- corresponding with veteran, community providers, internal providers/nurses, and admin staff to ensure the care and authorization for care requested is processed.

• Communication with veterans on their health care options via phone calls to determine receiving care at VA facility or through the community eligible providers so the veterans can make informed decisions on how/when/where to receive specialty care if they are eligible for CC.
