Salary: 95,000-115,000

This is a FULLY REMOTE role and is open to candidates legally able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship andresidingin the following states: CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, MI, NC, NE, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TN, TX, VA

Objectives of this Role

Work with data to solve business problems, building and maintaining the infrastructure to answer questions and improve processes

Streamline our data workflows, adding value to our product offerings and building out the customer lifecycle and retention models

Develop data models and pipelines for research, reporting, and machine learning

Advocate for best practices and continued learning

Key Responsibilities

Build data pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate data from disparate sources

Integrate our data sources with third party tools (e.g.Wyn, Tableau, etc.) to provide insights to our internal business users and our external customers

Identify relevant data sources and sets to mine for client business needs, and collect large structured and unstructured datasets and variables

Analyze data for trends and patterns, and interpret data with clear objectives in mind

Build data lakes, warehouses and cloud storage data sets to store data and to feed and drive modern cloud-based Al systems

Model front-end and back-end data sources to help draw a more comprehensive picture of user flows throughout the system and to enable powerful data analysis

Develop models that can be used to make predictions and answer questions for the overall business and our customers

Devise and utilize algorithms and models to mine big-data stores; perform data and error analysis to improve models; clean and validate data for uniformity and accuracy

Use agile software development processes to make iterative improvements to our back-end systems

Implement analytical models in production by collaborating with software developers

Required skills and qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, statistics, applied mathematics, engineering, or related discipline from an accredited U.S. University or the foreign equivalent

Three or more years of experience with Python, SQL, Postgres, and data visualization/exploration tool

Familiarity with the Microsoft and Azure ecosystems, preferably SQL Server and Postgres Server

Communication skills, especially for explaining technical concepts to nontechnical business leaders

Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis

Experience in pattern recognition and predictive modeling

Experience with Excel, PowerPoint or Google Docs equivalent

Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, research-oriented group that has several concurrent projects

Preferred skills and qualifications

U.S. Eastern Time Zone Preferred

Experience in building or maintaining ETL processes

Experience with an embedded Bl systems, such as Wyn

Experience with large text blob indexing and searching using cloud-based Al searches

Two or more years of project management experience

Professional certification
