Job Description

The Grand Naniloa Hotel is hiring a Rooms Controller. This is an AM shift position, 4 days, 10-hour shifts.

Compensation:

$17.23 per hourResponsibilities:

A hotel room controller is responsible for:

Managing a hotel's guest room inventory, coordinating room assignments based on guest requests and availability

Ensuring maximum occupancy and revenue by strategically blocking rooms

Acting as a liaison between the front desk, housekeeping

Other departments to guarantee smooth guest check-in and check-out processes

Essentially overseeing the day-to-day operations of room allocation within the hotel

Qualifications:

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and staff

Proficiency with hotel property management systems (PMS)

Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in room assignments and guest information

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Knowledge of hospitality standards and procedures
