MBR Charleston is a leading clinical research site dedicated to advancing medical science through innovative clinical trials. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Coordinator/ Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our facility. What You’ll Do:
Front Desk & Patient Support:
Greet and assist patients, study participants, and visitors with a warm and professional demeanor.
Answer and direct phone calls, schedule appointments, and follow up with participants.
Maintain patient and visitor logs, ensuring an organized and efficient check-in process.
Keep the reception and waiting areas clean, organized, and welcoming.
Administrative & Research Support:
Manage patient paperwork, obtain necessary signatures, and maintain accurate records.
Assist with data entry, filing, faxing, and other clerical tasks.
Coordinate communication between patients, participants, and clinical research staff.
Support participant recruitment efforts and follow-up calls.
Site Operations & Compliance:
Ensure office supplies and clinic materials are stocked and organized.
Assist research staff with study materials, patient education resources, and documentation.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations and clinical research protocols.
What We’re Looking For:
Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.
Experience: Prior receptionist or administrative support experience (preferably in a healthcare or clinical research setting).
Skills:
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent phone etiquette and scheduling abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Bilingual (English & Spanish Speaking)
Preferred Skills (not required):
Knowledge of clinical research procedures or willingness to learn.
Experience with Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS).
