Integrity Trade Services is currently hiring for our client in Plainfield

2-2-3 schedule 7pm-7am

PAY RATE-$20.50

SUMMARY

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating site-specific equipment (injection molding, blow molding or extrusion) and meeting all production, quality and safety requirements.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Efficient operation of machines and other associated equipment to successfully produce plastic products according to specification

Works safely, notifying leads and or management of safety issues or concerns.

Visually inspects bottles for defects and notifies team management of nonconforming product as directed frequency requires.

Pack finished goods onto pallets or drive forklift as needed when short staffed (certified through Logoplaste).

Good troubleshooting skills

Set up, repair and troubleshoot equipment and processes

Troubleshooting Skills related to mechanical, pneumatic, electrical or hydraulic issues (if applicable)

Perform material handling procedures as required

Perform and assist with mold and neck finish changes as required

Assist and perform adjustments to meet quality specifications and/or cycle efficiency

Complete all required quality checks, critical systems checks, production records and logs accurately

Assist in machine start-ups and shut-downs

Perform minor repairs on all production equipment such as blow molder, extruder, conveyor systems, injection machines; material loading/unloading as required.

Manage machine process efficiency initiatives, scrap minimization, materials conservation, inventory control and warehouse management

Perform preventative maintenance on related equipment as required

Manage machine efficiency and ensure all equipment is operational

Follow established quality procedures

Comply with all company safety policies and procedures as well as maintain good housekeeping, GMP Practices and Global Food Safety Practices

Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Understanding and working knowledge of HDPE/PET

Knowledge of hand tools

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous blow molding, Injection or Extrusion experience or related training (HDPE, PET) Industry experience is preferred

Warehouse knowledge/able to drive forklift

Working knowledge of computer systems, including MS Office, Excel and SAP

Ability to work in a fast paced, lean environment with heat above 90 degrees

Ability to sit, stand, bend, climb, crawl and walk on a varying basis throughout assigned work schedule

Ability to carry and/or maneuver up to 50 pounds

IL Paid Leave for All WorkersAn employee that works in Illinois is entitled to accrue and use up to 40 hours of paid leave during a 12 month period or a pro rata number of hours of paid leave under the provisions of the State of Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act. The 12 month accrual period is considered to begin for new employees on the employees first day of employment. An employee is entitled to begin using earned and accrued paid leave time 90 calendar days after commencement of employment. Paid leave under this Act shall accrue at the rate of one hour of paid leave for every 40 hours worked up to 40 hours of paid leave

401(k) with company match for eligible employees.Eligibility: Active employees with one year of work and during that one year has completed 1,000 hours of service and is at least 21 years of age. Entry dates into the 401(k) are: 1/1 or 7/1 following the one year of service and completing 1,000 hours of work.

The company will match 100% of the first 3% of the employee contribution. As well as, match 50% of the next 2% of the employee contribution. (The company contribution/match maximum is 4%)
