Summary

LHH is seeking a Shipping Manager that will oversee both inbound and outbound operations within a high-volume distribution center, ensuring efficient handling of receiving, replenishment, put-away, and order fulfillment processes. The position plays a critical role in executing operational strategies, supporting cross-functional leadership, and driving performance improvements in logistics and warehousing.Responsibilities

Support and implement operational strategies in alignment with senior leadership objectives.

Provide direction to functional managers and coordinate across shifts to meet service, cost, and quality goals.

Identify and drive process improvements in workflow, equipment utilization, safety, and compliance.

Manage workforce planning, including hiring, scheduling, task delegation, and employee development.

Oversee training, mentorship, and performance evaluations of front-line leaders and staff.

Monitor inventory accuracy and loss prevention initiatives.

Track and improve operational metrics and compliance through data-driven performance management.

Prepare and manage budgets related to payroll, equipment, and other operational expenses.

Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, DEA, and other applicable regulations.

Maintain records and ensure fair application of policies and procedures within areas of responsibility.Qualifications

Basic Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in distribution/logistics or High School diploma/GED with 4+ years of relevant experience.

Proficiency in inbound operations (receiving, replenishment, stocking) and outbound operations (picking, packing, shipping).

At least 1 year of leadership experience in a direct or cross-functional capacity.

Intermediate skills in Excel; basic knowledge of PowerPoint and Word.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with advanced material handling equipment.

Experience with Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices.

Background in performance improvement facilitation and SPC (Statistical Process Control).

Strong understanding of compliance in regulated environments.

Available paid leave may include Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.

Pay Details: $105,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
