Meta Reality Labs brings together a world-class team of researchers, developers, and engineers to create the future of virtual and augmented reality, which together will become as universal and essential as smartphones and personal computers are today.
Just as personal computers have done over the past 45 years, AR and VR will ultimately change everything about how we work, play, and connect.
We are developing all the technologies needed to enable breakthrough AR glasses and VR headsets, including optics and displays, computer vision, audio, graphics, brain-computer interface, haptic interaction, eye/hand/face/body tracking, perception science, and true telepresence.
Some of those will advance much faster than others, but they all need to happen to enable AR and VR that are so compelling that they become an integral part of our lives. As Computer Vision Algorithm Engineer on the Reality Labs team at Meta, you can help build new, innovative hardware and software that radically redefine the way people work, play and connect.
What we build today could one day be the norm.
So to be here today is to truly be at the heart of change and the frontier of what's to come.
We're the people helping to define the metaverse.
We may not have all the answers.
But together, we're getting closer. We are looking for a creative, skilled and motivated algorithm engineer to join our team to build the future of communication - photorealistic telepresence.
Our aspiration is to connect people separated by distance as if they were in the same room together.
We achieve this by researching, developing and productionizing state-of-the-art methods in computer vision and machine learning for human understanding and telepresence.
These include (semi-) supervised deep learning, generative adversarial learning, active learning, depth sensing, 3D reconstruction, and rendering.
