Get to Know Your Team:

Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is an 83-bed acute care hospital offering services such as Cardiology, Emergency Services, and a Level IV Trauma Designated ER, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Gastroenterology, Diagnostic Services, and more. Responsibilities

Greets and acknowledges all co-workers and guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Interacts with staff on a daily basis in regards to schedules, needs/ concerns.

Executes proper phone procedures; directs calls to appropriate personnel and customers.

Maintains supplies, forms, and equipment as needed for functioning department.

Coordinates all data entry for nursing that is associated with scheduling.

Tracking and data entry associated with timekeeping and attendance.

Assists in coordination/communication of daily staffing to Department Manager(s)/Director(s) and House Supervisor.

Other staff coordination duties as assigned by Acute Care Manager/Director

Wears ID badge and dresses professionally in compliance with SMCHH's dress code.

Protects patients' and co-workers' right to privacy and confidentiality and follows HIPAA guidelines.

Complies with safety standards and takes responsibility for the improvement of the work environment.

Serves as an ambassador of SMCHH by promptly welcoming customers, showing sensitivity to how actions are perceived, and taking responsibility for actions.

Demonstrates respect for SMCHH's financial resources and does not waste.

Maintains an ethical business environment and follows SMCHH's Corporate Compliance guidelines as outlined in the Code of Conduct.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalency

BLS within six months of hire

Preferred Job Requirements

Associate Degree

Certified Nurse Aide

Previous Acute Care Hospital Experience

Previous Leadership experience
