Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled AWS Engineer with deep expertise in Terraform to support our cloud infrastructure initiatives in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement cloud infrastructure using AWS services and Terraform.

Develop and maintain Terraform modules for reusable infrastructure patterns.

Manage infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and automation pipelines.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and security.

Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to align cloud solutions with business needs.

Implement CI/CD integrations for infrastructure deployment.

Write documentation for infrastructure setup and standard operating procedures.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in AWS cloud infrastructure engineering.

3+ years of Terraform development and module creation.

Strong experience with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps principles.

Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline).

Strong knowledge of cloud security, identity management, and compliance frameworks.

Preferred Skills:

AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc.).

Experience with other IaC tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Pulumi).

Familiarity with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS).

Background in supporting applications in a federal or highly regulated environment is a plus.
