A fast-growing Managing General Agency (MGA) is seeking an experienced New Business Underwriter to join their Condominium Association program.

This fully remote position offers exciting growth opportunities, with a preference for candidates based in Southern California.

Key Details:

Position Type: Fully remote (travel required quarterly for in-person meetings).

Location Preference: Southern California candidates preferred, but open to remote workers in CA, TX, AZ, NM, CO, NV, or MT.

Urgency: Immediate hiring need.Responsibilities:

Underwrite 65–100 new accounts per month.

Perform comprehensive underwriting duties, including quoting, preparing quotes, rating, binding, pricing, and maintaining timely communication with agents.

Lines of coverage include Property, General Liability (GL), and Crime/Fidelity.

Collaborate with underwriting assistants to streamline workflows.

No production or quota requirements.Requirements:

Minimum 3+ years of community association underwriting experience with an MGA or MGU.

Remote work experience required.

Expertise in underwriting Condominium Association risks, especially in western states.

Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, creativity, and flexibility.

Base Salary: $70,000–$100,000/year (commensurate with experience).
