Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Account Clerk to support a loan amortization project.
The ideal candidate will bring strong bookkeeping skills, a solid understanding of loans and grants, and proficiency in Excel.
Key Responsibilities: Post accounting transactions to ledgers or journals manually or electronically Review and process invoices, receipts, and vouchers for accuracy and completeness Perform data entry and maintain financial records Compile and prepare financial reports (e.g., cash flow, accounts payable/receivable) Assist in reviewing payroll, timecards, purchase orders, and vendor checks Manage clerical tasks such as filing, sorting mail, and answering phone inquiries Maintain inventory of office supplies and support other administrative functions as needed Required Skills & Qualifications: Knowledge of bookkeeping and general accounting procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry Strong attention to detail and analytical ability Comfort working with numbers, including fractions, percentages, and decimals Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate records Understanding of grants and loans is preferred Minimum Qualifications: Coursework or 3 months' experience in accounting/bookkeeping Experience operating calculators or accounting-related software Company Description Alpha Rae Personnel is a full-service Universal Workforce Solutions and Executive Search firm with a proven track record of success.
