About your role
UGL’s Manufacturing & Maintenance business is seeking a Systems Specialist to join our supportive Asset Management team, based at our Broadmeadow Facility. Reporting to the Senior Asset Systems Specialist, you will provide information systems subject matter expert (SME) support across our project and maintenance functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide cross-domain information system support to maximise the delivery of UGL’s asset management services to rail rollingstock operators across Australia
Engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to support the definition, design, development, and deployment of information systems.
Provide business process support for maintenance management & execution systems, performance management systems, condition monitoring systems, document management systems, and business intelligence systems
Support information system input for the tendering and delivery of new contracts and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet evolving business needs
Focus on eliminating systems and processes that cause duplication and fragmentation of operational data
About You:
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT/IS, or similar, or extensive experience in information system development and integration
Experience: Expertise in information systems design, development, and implementation, with a preference for those related to asset management
Skills: Strong technical knowledge, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in analysing business requirements. SAP asset management experience is highly valued
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to negotiate, influence, and build effective relationships across all levels.
Work Ethic: Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
