Your responsibilities will include:

Located in Williamtown, NSW, Develop and manage the F-35 Flight Instruction capability, providing effective leadership and management to ensure business obligations and customer requirements can be met both now and in the future through the application of robust policies, processes and procedures.

Duties

Serves as F-35 Pilot SME. Maintain weapons system expertise.

Provide instruction using the Full Mission Simulator (FMS) and other F-35 Training Aids.

Support lesson plan and mission guide revision efforts.

Manage and support aircrew training device scenario design and programming efforts.

Manage the recommended corrective action and remedial training with the Lead Instructor and active-duty supervisors. Conduct training as required.

Conduct student academic evaluations.

Manage lesson revision inputs.

Provide Force Application support services, including support to exercises, operational deployment, doctrine development, Operational Test & Evaluation, Operational Airworthiness and Aviation Risk Management, as scheduled (when on contract).

About you:

Strong sub-contractor management experience

Implement effective business solutions, fostering leadership & management excellence.

Minimum Royal Australian Air Force Fighter Combat Instructor (FCI), Fast-jet Qualified Flying Instructor (QFI) or Fast-jet Instructor Pilot (IP) experience essential, qualification on fourth and/or fifth generation front line fighter aircraft. Strong sub-contractor management

Experience flying 5th gen fighters.

Special Requirements:

Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
