Job Title: General Construction Laborer

Job Summary:

We are seeking motivated and reliable General Construction Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various construction-related tasks, including installing walkways, unloading and assembling equipment, securing structures, and providing general labor support on construction sites. This role involves working in high-security environments and requires attention to detail, safety, and the ability to work in a team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Place matting on the ground to create stable and secure walkways.

Unload equipment from trucks and move it to designated locations on-site.

Assemble equipment and secure it to floor mats within high-security tents.

Install fire extinguishers in appropriate locations within structures, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Provide general construction support, including assisting with site preparation, cleaning, and other tasks as needed.

Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Assist with various tasks to support the construction team and contribute to project efficiency.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience in general construction, labor work, or a similar field is an asset.

Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks.

Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.

Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.

Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Ability to work in high-security environments and adhere to safety standards.

Must have reliable transportation to the worksite.

Additional Skills/Certifications (Preferred):

OSHA certification or other safety training.

Knowledge of fire extinguisher installation and safety protocols.

Experience working in high-security or specialized construction settings.

Work Environment:

Construction sites, including high-security areas.

Physical labor required, with tasks performed outdoors or in large indoor structures.
