Small & Associates is a boutique real estate firm based in Richmond, Virginia, specializing in the city’s top neighborhoods: the Fan District, the Museum District, the Near West End, and the surrounding counties. Role Overview:
The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of the business, manage the growth of our team, and ensure that all real estate transactions comply with legal and company standards. This role includes mentoring and training agents, recruiting new talent, and leading firm meetings and workshops.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Provide training, mentorship, and guidance for agents. Set career goals and conduct reviews to ensure growth and success.
Recruitment & Hiring: Actively recruit and hire both new and experienced agents to expand the team.
Operational Management: Manage daily operations, run firm meetings, and ensure business continuity.
Vendor & Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with attorneys, lenders, and vendors to support agents and clients.
Financial Oversight: Work with the Bookkeeper to manage budgeting, expenses, and agent payments.
Marketing & Digital Presence: Oversee social media, websites, and marketing efforts to enhance brand visibility.
Training & Development: Create online training materials, manage the agent portal, and stay current with industry trends. Lead real estate classes and workshops.
Transaction Compliance: Ensure all real estate transactions comply with legal and regulatory standards.
Transaction Management: Provide support with contract writing and general transaction management.
Qualifications:
Experience in operations management in real estate.
Licensed Salesperson in Virginia (Broker’s license encouraged).
Experience recruiting, hiring, and mentoring real estate agents.
Comfortable speaking in front of real estate classes and large groups.
Knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and compliance.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficient in digital management, social media, and marketing strategies.
Excellent communication skills, with a solution-oriented mindset.
