Loan Receptionist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Greet members visiting the loan department and answers telephone for loan department. Acts as fact finder for member needs, directing members and/or calls to appropriate lending personnel.
2. Retrieves messages from general loan voicemail for proper disposition.
3. Maintains a full working knowledge of all lending policies, guidelines, and procedures.
4. Maintain a working knowledge of other credit union products and services to cross sell to members as their needs are determined.
5. Receive and process all incoming mail for loan department.
6. Processes Weekly Paid Loan Report.
7. Prepares and mails appropriate correspondence, releases collateral, and performs file maintenance on the core data processing system.
8. Monitors insurance coverage where necessary. Ensures reinstatement of coverage when appropriate.
9. Images new loan files.
10. Upload and disburses loans from the loan origination system to the core data processing system.
11. Process and maintain Loan ACH payments processes.
12. Process incoming motor vehicle titles from DMV.
13. Maintain core data processing tracking system for receipt of title.
14. Prepare and file title in collateral storage.
15. Receive incoming recorded mortgage deeds and file in collateral storage.
16. Process home equity payoff requests, providing payoff letters and releases as necessary.
17. Receive and process loan payoffs, releasing collateral and maintaining the core data processing system as necessary.
18. Maintain strict adherence to Credit Union policy and procedures as well as consumer compliance law and regulations to include but not be limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Act and Office of Foreign Asset Control regulations, Fair Lending and Fair Housing regulations and security, and robbery procedures.

6. Computer savvy, expert in use of standard office programs and networks. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
1. High school diploma or equivalent or related job experience.

Salary Range - $42,000 to 54,000
