Overview
The assistant principal will support the principal in daily operations of school policies.
Employment Schedule: 12-months, full time
Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential functions of the position may include, but are not limited to, the following:
School operations
Discipline and safety
Student-related issues
Parental communication and involvement
Staff support
Community support
School-wide assessment and accountability to include oversight of the Test Coordinator
Lead Professional Development
Data Analysis
Implement School-Wide Vision and Mission
Professional Development
Parental Communication and Involvement
Oversight of Curriculum
Evaluation of Teachers and Staff
Working knowledge of the Common Core Standards
Assure that each assigned student is academically successful, behaviorally and socially appropriate, achieves his/her documented academic goals, and demonstrates at least one full year of growth on standardized test measures
Other Duties as directed by the principal Assistant Principals are eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
Compensation:
Base Salary
Retention Stipend
Leadership Bonus: Up to 10% of Annual Base Salary
Enrollment Incentive Stipend
Employer 401K Match (2.5% of Base Salary) Total Possible Compensation Package: $81,489.98

Bachelor's degree (BA) from an accredited college or university or equivalent; Master's degree preferred
Successful leadership experience preferred
Adherence to the requirements of the Code of Ethics for the Education Profession
