MANGO FARM WORKER

Position: Casual Mango Farm Worker Period of Employment: Approximately 3 to 4 months from September to December 2025 Number of Positions Available: 80 workers required Casual Job Opportunity at Tou's Garden - Mango Farm in Acacia Hills, Northern Territory, AUSTRALIA Tou's Garden is a stunning Mango Farm that spans 1900 acres in Acacia Hills, NT.

We are a family-owned and operated business dedicated to cultivating various mango varieties.

Located just an hour's drive south of Darwin city centre, our farm offers a unique and rewarding work experience.

Applicants Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: general mango farm labour duties, picking, packing, cleaning, pruning, spraying, weeding and nursery work Working Conditions: Hot and humid tropical climate, with temperatures often exceeding 40 degrees Celsius.

Work hours are usually between 6 am and 6 pm, varying daily based on weather conditions and seasonal demands.

During peak harvest season, extended hours may be required, up to 50 hours per week or 304 hours over 8 weeks Regular breaks and days off provided to manage fatigue and ensure safety and well-being.

Remuneration: Casual position, paid at $29.33 per hour (includes 25% casual loading), based on a 38-hour work week Opportunities for additional hours during peak periods.

The work you will be doing on the farm is often hard and physically demanding.

It may involve reaching above your head and using pickers to pick mangoes or lifting cases of packed mangoes onto pallets.

You will often be working outdoors in hot and humid conditions with temperatures in Darwin reaching up to 40ºC and humidity can be up to 90%. You will need to be fit and in good physical health to do this work.

Good work ethic and positive attitude.

Ability to work well as a team.

Available to work on weekdays, Saturdays, and/or Sundays.

No prior farm experience required.
