Steel Estimator

In this role, you will be working as a Steel Estimator for a client that works in fabricating and installing structural steel, miscellaneous iron, and ornamental metals for the construction industry.

Duties

Review all bid documents, drawings and specifications to become familiar with scope of work prior to starting scope letter and estimate

Develop scope letter and send to general contractors prior to bid day

Take of all material, labor and equipment using Fabtrol, Excel and company estimating standards

This position is a contract to possible permanent position and a long term need for my client. This position must work on site.

Pay: $30 - 45/hr

Requirements

Structural or Miscellaneous Steel background required

Must have proven experience in construction. Estimating and bidding preferred.

High School Diploma required.

Familiar with estimating software (Fabtrol is a plus)
