TeleSign is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic Release/DevOps team as we develop a highly virtualized, distributed transaction-processing platform. This role bridges development and operations, helping ensure fast, reliable, and secure delivery of TeleSign’s products and infrastructure.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, fast-paced team focused on automating CI/CD pipelines, streamlining software delivery, and supporting our transition to a microservices-based architecture in Azure AKS. Job Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for build systems and release processes.
Collaborate closely with Engineering and Operations to enable smooth, reliable software releases.
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other tools.
Manage and automate releases from development through to production.
Drive the development of infrastructure automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
Support the migration to a continuous delivery model using microservices, containers, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Improve system reliability, scalability, and security in collaboration with Security and Network teams.
Maintain documentation and continuously refine release and deployment processes.
Provide technical support to Engineering, Operations and other internal stakeholders.
Investigate and integrate new tools to enhance release efficiency and performance.
Manage workload via the internal ticketing system and provide timely updates.
Requirements:
5+ years of hands-on experience with DevOps automation and infrastructure tools (Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.).
3+ years working with Azure or AWS cloud environments.
Strong experience with Linux system administration and shell scripting (Bash).
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and best practices.
Solid experience in setting up, managing and using Kubernetes.
Familiarity with Azure AKS and container orchestration.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, etc.).
Working knowledge of non-relational databases (Redis, Elasticsearch).
Experience with observability tools (Grafana, ELK, Icinga, Datadog, Prometheus, etc.).
Good SQL/database skills and version control experience using Git.
A solid grounding in version control and experience working with a team using Git.
Solid grasp of networking fundamentals (VLANs, IPSec, load balancing).
Understanding of development best practices and standards (design patterns, coding standards, etc.).
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Self-driven and able to work independently or as part of a cross-functional team.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
