SpecChem, LLC supplies and services the concrete distributor network with quality construction chemicals that provide performance and value to the industry.

We are seeking an intelligent, energetic candidate for a full-time Production Associate position in our Kansas City, KS facility.

The ideal candidate for this position has outstanding people and problem-solving skills, thinks innovatively, and constantly strives for excellence and improvement.

Responsibilities:

Deliver batch samples and documentation to the QA Lab.

Setup, change over, and clean machines and work area daily.

Operate Cowles/Disperser mixing equipment, frequency drives, gear, and diaphragm pumps.

Perform blending, processing, batching, and compounding tasks.

Follow SOPs for consistent quality.

Use personal protective equipment (respirator, apron, gloves) and adhere to safety regulations.

Label products correctly for sorting and use.

Maintain company safety procedures and good housekeeping practices.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.

1+ years of batching or manufacturing experience, preferably with a chemical manufacturing background, or 1+ years with SpecChem in production.

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. frequently.

Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Quick learner with a commitment to quality work.

Forklift operation or willingness to learn.

Must wear a respirator mask.

Pass a background check and pre-employment screenings.
