Job Description
Talent Corps is seeking a Foreman for an upcoming construction sites in the Loudoun County area starting up in June.
Ideal candidate will be:
Responsible for leading, directing, and coordinating the work of subcontractors, vendors and/or trade employees.
Professional and well spoken - Bi-lingual a plus.
Experience with ProCore preferred.
The Project Foreman is responsible for ensuring safety, schedule delivery, quality of work performed and adherence to budget of the project.
The Project Foreman has supervisory responsibility for trade employees on the project.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Be a working foreman while leading trade staff to complete job site related projects.
Ability to problem solve at no cost to the contract.
Ability to take and log project photos.
Oversee and making decisions related to the performance of work related to scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and trade employee staffing levels.
Work closely with Superintendent to resolve local area problems regarding procedures, precedence, design clarifications, adequate labor and equipment schedule and all other appropriate matters.
Assist with the overall site safety and quality programs as required
Completes and submits time sheets, daily construction reports, and required safety paperwork daily.
Supervise and develop employees, as assigned
Address staff needs and resolve problems. Provide staff feedback, reward, and discipline as required.
Assist project team with creating schedules and determining sequencing of work. Develop and implement recovery strategies to maintain project schedule, when requested.
Assist in scheduling and expediting the delivery of materials and equipment.
Operate equipment such as forklifts, backhoe, skid steer, excavator, compactors, and construction hoist
Maintain positive working relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.
Ability to travel and accommodate night and weekend work as needed
Display a high level of teamwork, integrity, commitment, and leadership in daily operations.
Required:
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Willing to work a minimum of 6am to 2pm with possibility of overtime
Must have reliable transportation
Must have current OSHA certification and CPR/First certifiedCompany Description
